Growing up as a child of the 90's, my brothers and I were introduced to a cinematic world filled with an ever increasing number of titles and characters. Whether it be a classic comedy that came out before our time (i.e. Ferris Bueller's Day Off) or a big action movie released while we were young (i.e. True Lies), we always found ourselves consuming more.
After years of cultivating a mass of knowledge (and yes, I consider this all worthwhile knowledge) I found myself drawn to the concept of a shared world where an actor's portrayed characters are part of the same universe. For example, Jeffrey Jones' characters Edward Rooney (Ferris), Charles Deetz (Beetlejuice), and Dick Nelson (Mom and Dad Save the World) are one person (changes to names or appearances will be creatively detailed in specific posts). So begins my Minor Character Universe experiment (or the MCU as I'll refer to it...that's never been used before, right?).
This blog will be home to the ideas and threads that are created to connect the characters from some of our most favorite movies, both good and bad. Below are some guidelines I intend to follow in order to keep some semblance of structure to an entirely fictional universe.
For those of you who enjoy movies, I hope you'll enjoy reading these ideas as much as I enjoy coming up with them.
Thanks!

- Minor/Lesser Known Only - I'm attempting to focus solely on those actors and actresses who are lesser known or from lesser known titles. This means "A List" stars will not generally appear except perhaps in some notes.
- Somewhat Chronological - Many of these actors and actresses are in movies that span many years and, in some cases, decades/centuries. Since time travel isn't possible in our real universe, it won't be possible in my fictional shared universe. Therefore, as an example, the aforementioned Jeffrey Jones' appearance in Amadeus, which took place in the latter 18th century, will not appear in his thread.
- Movies Only - We will focus solely on the silver screen.
